Join The Avalanche Guild on New Year’s Eve at Buffalo Wild Wings across from Park Meadows Mall starting at 5pm for our first “All Hail the Avs!” viewing party and NHLTweetup. The Avalanche travel to Detroit to take on the hated Red Wings and we are cheering them on while we close the book on the 2009 calendar year. There are great drink specials all night ($3.95 for 23oz. Not only is this an official NHL Tweetup, but this time around the Hockey Guild will be throwing their official Thank-You party for their last event, Quest for the Crown 2!

The Hockey Guild invites all Quest 2 Festival team captains, players, friends and family to our official “Thank-You” party this Thursday night at Breckenridge Brewery in Denver!

Not only will Breckenridge be offering Happy Hour drink specials all night long, we are also proud to be hosting an NHLTweetup Stanley Cup Playoffs viewing party alongside Hockeyism.com and other local hockey fans.

Cincinnati “Tweet-update”

Before I give you the update, I have a small aside. I didn’t watch the Pens/Caps in Game 7. But before you say “Shame on You”, I did get a chance to go to the Cincinnati Cyclones/South Carolina Stingrays Game 3 matchup here in Cincinnati with @BethanyM85. If you’re a Caps fan, you shouldn’t be too sad, because the Stingrays are their ECHL affiliate!

Now on to the “Tweet-update”. Versus, as well as the Columbus Blue Jackets, have both graciously donated some swag for tweeps coming to the Tweetup! The catch is you have to be the one of the first 15 people to RSVP to get your hands on it! Also here’s the details again:

Denver NHL Tweetup, Round 2!

Due to time constraints, Round 2 will be much more casual.

Versus has graciously provided some giveaways for the attendees, but you have to RSVP in order to have a chance to win.

We’ll be crashing the College Inn, a cool little bar near the old University Hospital that’s chock full of TVs. No official spot for us to meet in the place, so just show up and we’ll fit wherever we can.

Just a couple blocks down from Coors Field, we’ll be crashing the opening baseball party and celebrating the NHL Playoffs and NHL.com’s new feature, the Portal. Don your hockey apparel, prepare to drink some great local beer, and head on down to Breckenridge Brewery (don’t worry, the Rockies are out of town that day, so bar fights are unlikely).
