Game #7 NHL Tweetup in NYC

The NHL will be hosting its final NHLTweetup of the playoffs on Friday, June 12. It will be a Stanley Cup Final Game #7 viewing party at Tonic on 7th Ave (Times Sq) starting at 7:30 p.m. If there’s no Game #7, we’ll just make merry.

I will be doing merchandise giveaways and will sponsor the appetizers through the first period.

To the good folks organizing the NHL Draft Tweetup in Montreal – @all_habs, @amandafortier, @kyleroussel, @metricjulie, et al - I am pleased to tell you that the National Hockey League is committed to officially supporting your wonderful effort at this “tentpole event” and we’ll do what we can to make a nice event even better.

As an initial gesture of the NHL’s support, I have sent to @all_habs 50 complimentary general admission tickets to the NHL Draft. These are good for both Friday and Saturday night.

I also have shipped up some wristbands and a few goodies to be given out.

We intend to be as supportive as possible, and so I hope to assist even further as we get closer to the event.

Really thrilled that so many of you have taken the idea of the NHL Tweetup and run with it. From the League perspective, it is likely we will try to have another “league-sanctioned” event to coincide with the Stanley Cup Final. So stay tuned, and let us know what we can do better.
