*Updated* #NHLtweetup Street Hockey Edition – Friday, August 28th
You’re NOT going to want to miss this!
This is going to be the coolest NHLtweetup event to hit the New York area so far! The hockey tweeps are playing street hockey on Friday, August 28th from 4-7 at Ellsworth Allen Park in Farmingdale. If you play, bring your gear (skates optional) and if you don’t, come anyway to partake in what could be a hilarious game as the hockey tweeps put their sticks where their mouths are. (Who will gain Twitter bragging rights??) @mozy19 is visiting from Vancouver and we have tweeps coming from as far as New Jersey to play. This should be a BLAST.
If you can’t make it at 4:00, come by whenever you can. We’ll be having pizzas delivered to the park at about 6:00. (Bring your own beverages.)
For an awesome photo op, @mozy19 has a request… Bring your jerseys! It will be great to have a pic of all of us together sporting our colors. Even if it’s too hot to play in, it will make for a great pic.

The “rink” (term used loosely) is at the far end of the parking lot behind the handball and basketball courts.

Your passion for the Islanders caught my attention. I am a life time hockey fan and have been an Islandes fan from day one! I will send some images of my office! Perhaps they are on the right path this season! Ownership and Mike Milbury are cause for recent results! We must be patient..The image of 4 cups in my office is getting too silly to justify!!
