#NHLtweetup NYC – #NHLwithdrawl Edition
So, it’s July. The Draft is over. #NHLfa has lost it’s charm. We’re all feeling the burn.
When I heard that @kleathers was visiting NYC from Boston I knew that it was a perfect opportunity to get the Hockey Tweeps together for a dose of NHLwithdrawl Intervention in more than 140.
So, save the date! Tuesday, July 28th at 7:00p (ish). Venue is to be announced pending interest but I’m leaning toward Stout on 33rd. (Thanks to @BDGallof for the great suggestion.) The idea is to have it close to Penn Station for those of us taking the train into the city.
So, stay tuned here and make sure you’re following @nhltweetup for updates and the official twtvite for RSVPs.

I’ll say maybe, just because of travel stuff, but I’m gonna try my hardest to get down there. I don’t have any mobile tweeting paraphernalia, but I could at least come down and discuss all things hockey. Once I get a better idea of what’s going on, I’ll let you know, Dani.

A little info about Stout: Lots of beers. And I do mean lots. They got beers from around the world and a ton on tap. Tonne for you Cananananda chaps and chapettes. Eh!
Good wings. Good apps. Good burgers. Etc etc. It is on 33rd street between 7th and Broadway (closer to 7th).
Gets a touch crowded. My suggestion, once we get a count, is to then have someone call to see if we can have them reserve a spot either upstairs, in back or downstairs.
Would love to attend but a week night is out – not enough time to drive up. You need to have these things on weekend sometimes so ‘us’ foreigners far away can drive up.
